Our Translation Rates

We add VAT to these prices at the rate of 19%.

The normal output rate for one working day is six standard pages (SP). A standard page is 30 lines of 60 characters or 1,800 bytes.

Base rate: up to six standard pages, delivery within 48 hours.

The minimum order is 0.5 standard pages and one standard page for sworn translations. The price of a translation is based on the number of standard pages of target text.

Express surcharges:

An express translation is one in excess of six standard pages per day.

• we add an express surcharge of 50% for a translation done the same day
• we add an express surcharge of 30% for a translation done within 24 hours
• we add an express surcharge of 20% for a translation done within 48 hours

Surcharges for difficult texts:

We add a surcharge of 10% - 25% for translations from badly readable originals (small type, smudged print, handwritten or corrected text). We also add this surcharge if a text to be translated contains tables, lists, graphs, etc.

Proofreading:

It is necessary to order proofreading for translations of advertising and promotional materials, menus, and other printed matter. We charge 85 – 130 crowns for one standard page proofread. We do only proofreading, not editing.
