We add value added tax at the rate of 19%. One working day = 8 hours. Every additional hour is counted as a whole hour without a surcharge. The minimum working time for an interpreter is:

If an event is held outside Prague the client pays costs of transport, accommodation and meals for interpreters and technicians. A booth is always occupied by two interpreters. If an interpreter is exceptionally alone in a booth, he has a right to a surcharge of 100%. A surcharge of 50% is added for interpreting from a foreign language into another. If an event is cancelled one day before it is to begin, 50% of the price is charged. If it is cancelled on the day of an event, 100% is charged.
If no background papers are supplied to interpreters in advance (glossaries, abstracts, event programmes, lists of speakers, names and contents of talks, corporate promotional materials for open houses) a supplement may be charged at the rate of 30% - 50%. Our rates, surcharges and other conditions are based on Translation and Interpreting Tariffs published by the Czech Union of Interpreters and Translators. Equipment We will present a preliminary budget for the lease of interpreting equipment for every event.
